A little video of the ME1 from a fresh install.

Now you will notice that i don't give the machine an ip address of 192.168.1.2 as this is set as default on my router for this device so it will always pick up that ip address.

Now when i want to connect to the lap top as it has a user name and password then i must input this into the ME1

The other is a dreambox 192.168.2.6 how ever this does not need a user name and password if your wondering why i haven't put one in.

The folders that you see are the ones that i have shared on my network.

Might help a few people and also for them that don't own one a little insight into the device.

MOWAX, thank you for your excellent video. i have set up as you show BUT!!, when i plug ME1 into my router, i can't see the drive on my computer. I have found the ip address and pinged it O.K..
How do i display it on my computer so i can transfer files to it and backup?
